It is truly a privilege working with such a wonderful client for an important cause. After hard work and dedication from the entire team, we are excited to announce the opening of the Cherokee Indian Hospital’s new Women’s and Children’s Home. The new facility is designed to help women achieve and maintain recovery, developing skills needed for a productive life in the Cherokee community. In the words of our friends at CIHA, Ni hi tsa tse li (means “It belongs to you”). View the virtual ribbon cutting, here.
“I would like to extend our gratitude for those who have worked tirelessly to make this project a reality. The design team of McMillan Pazdan Smith and the Governing Board’s Elements Committee worked together to create a warm environment for women and children, pouring themselves into details from colors, fabrics, flooring, and lighting, with the ultimate goal of creating an atmosphere that would make a house feel like a home. “
