Last week brought a true milestone for our Atlanta office with the groundbreaking of MUST Ministries’ new campus. MUST is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to helping the homeless and those in need across Cherokee and Cobb Counties. During the pandemic alone, they have provided 379,000 summer meals to children, distributed 1.5 million pounds of food, and served more than 1,100 people in its existing shelter. The new development couldn’t have come at a better time and will include a 136-bed shelter, health clinic, chapel, and office space for workforce development and training. Governor Brian Kemp and Former Governor Roy Barnes were among those in attendance on this historic day and spoke to the importance of helping our fellow neighbor during the current public health crisis.
