Joe Pazdan, a Founding Principal of McMillan Pazdan Smith, was honored with the Leadership Greenville Distinguished Alumni Award at the Greenville Chamber of Commerce’s 133rd Annual Meeting. The award recognizes an alumnus of the Leadership Greenville program who continually strives towards betterment of the Greenville community. A Greenville native, Pazdan has spent more than 30 years in service to the city and has been a Greenville Local Development Corporation Board Member since 2008.
Pazdan served on the steering committee that helped create Haywood Road’s master plan and has led more than 70 individual works of architecture that are woven into the urban fabric of Greenville. His nonprofit engagement includes regular participation in fundraising campaigns for the United Way of Greenville County, the March of Dimes, and the St. Francis Foundation where he has also served on the board for over 20 years.
Pazdan, along with fellow Clemson alum Brad Smith, founded Pazdan Smith Group in 1993. Today the firm, as McMillan Pazdan Smith, has grown to 7 offices across the Carolinas and Georgia.
