The Keith Summey Library branch recently held its groundbreaking event. This is one of two new libraries we are currently designing for the Charleston County Public Library system. MPS will be working in direct partnership with M. B. Kahn Construction Co., Inc. on this new library that will be a welcome addition to the growing Charleston area. Our team also includes: ADC Engineering, DWG Consulting Engineers, and J&A Engineering.
This branch will feature ample views and plenty of natural light with high, clerestory windows. A large, dividable meeting room will hold over 100 people and additional features will include group study rooms, computer stations, instruction rooms, and makerspaces that will offer the community significant opportunities for creativity.
