It’s hard to see eco-friendly, but at Spartanburg Day School, you can feel it. Classrooms are bright and airy. The air is fresh. Recycling bins are as prevalent as trash cans. The private school’s campaign to transform itself into one of the “greenest” campuses in the area took more than four years of fast-paced, yet calculated construction and renovation.
