McMillan Pazdan Smith recently completed the design and construction of Furman University’s Pearce-Horton Football Complex. The 44,000-square-foot facility is located adjacent to the existing stadium and includes a locker room and player lounge/study area for the football team along with coach’s offices, position and team meeting rooms, a sports medicine/athletic training suite, team equipment/laundry room, and other support space.
The building also includes a state-of-the-art press level and a private suite/club level with catering amenities and exterior seating to view the game.
During a recent tour through the new facility, Furman’s Head Football Coach, Bruce Fowler stated, “That’s the way Furman has always done things, in my opinion — with excellence. And when you look around, that’s what this building exemplifies.”
The project was completed in time for the 2014 football season.
