McMillan Pazdan Smith Completes Training Facility for Pure Barre

McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture announces the completion of an interior upfit in downtown Spartanburg for the new east coast training facility of Pure Barre, a ballet-based exercise studio franchise.

Many historical elements such as original hardwood floors, doors, and fireplaces were preserved from the building built in 1910 and listed on the National Historic Register.

The facility will house two training studios for franchisees and instructors, as well as a break room / lounge and conference rooms.  Pure Barre recently relocated their corporate headquarters from Denver, CO and the new training facility is in close proximity to the corporate offices in downtown Spartanburg. Pure Barre is currently pursuing historic preservation tax incentives for the project.
