McMillan Pazdan Smith Healthcare Leader Samer Hamde Makes Power List

Samer Hamde, healthcare leader for McMillan Pazdan Smith, has been named to SC Biz News’ inaugural New Executives Power Lists. This honor recognizes executives across South Carolina who have recently been hired or promoted at businesses and organizations. Samer Hamde joined McMillan Pazdan Smith in February of this year as healthcare leader. He brings 25 years of progressive experience in architecture, engineering, planning, and program management, with a focus on healthcare design. Before joining MPS, Samer held senior leadership roles with Amec Foster Wheeler, JLL, and NELSON Worldwide, where he was a Principal and National Practice Leader for Healthcare and CCJ&E.

In an interview for his Power List profile, SC Biz News asked Samer, “What are you most looking forward to in your new position?

“I’m always up for a challenge and I’m most excited about helping our clients be successful in this challenging healthcare climate,” Samer said. “The demographic growth is requiring our design services industry to innovate beyond our standard services to support our healthcare clients. We’re doing this with our advisory services and data-backed research, which helps our healthcare clients effectively plan and prepare for this demand increase. That builds on the strong design acumen the team already has to add more value for our clients.”
