MPS Augusta Opens New Studio on Downtown Broad Street

McMillan Pazdan Smith’s Augusta studio moved into the historic Green Building on 1019 Broad Street in downtown Augusta, GA. Moving from our previous location at 3810 Oak Drive in Augusta — the office space acquired last year when the former Virgo Gambill Architects became part of MPS. This is our second location in Georgia. The Atlanta studio has been in operation since 2016.

“This location puts us within walking distance to so many places where we can engage with the local community,” says MPS Augusta Studio Director, Joy Morgan Newberry, “It will also strengthen our regional connections by being in the heart of the CSRA, centralized along the Savannah River in downtown Augusta.”

MPS architects have been involved in prominent developments in this region, including a 10-year history with the Aiken County School District, along with other projects for Aiken County and at Augusta University Health System, USC Aiken, the Augusta Richmond County Library and Aiken Technical College.

“We are thrilled to be part of storied downtown Augusta while we continue to aid nearby development, serve the local community, and volunteer our time and talent to local professional organizations,” said Chad Cousins, CEO of McMillan Pazdan Smith.
