MUSC Moves Ahead on New Healthcare Facility to Serve Sea Islands Communities

“We are thrilled to be working with an excellent team at MUSC again to design another resilient and state-of-the-art healthcare facility that will serve the growing island communities in the Lowcountry,” says Judith Stephens, Senior Associate Architect in our Healthcare Studio.

This 22,740-square-foot MOB with a free-standing emergency room will be accessible to patients living on Johns Island, Kiawah Island, and Seabrook Island. Amenities include:

  • 4 Exam rooms
  • 2 Trauma rooms
  • Full lab services
  • CT scan services
  • Radiology services
  • ER helipad
