On this day in 1930...

On this day in 1930, J.C.H. Claussen opened a cutting-edge bakery in Greenville, SC — a marvel of innovation! The event was attended by thousands of local residents. Along with his sons, and even his grandsons, the Claussens went on to win numerous awards for the quality of their baked goods, at their peak producing 45,000 loaves of bread per day. Today, our Greenville team calls this historic landmark home. And, while we’re not turning out thousands of loaves of bread each day, we hope we’re living up to Claussen’s passion for innovation and quality!
