All Souls Fellowship
This urban based congregation had outgrown their existing facility and had an increasing need for a larger sanctuary. The new need for space included a 400-seat sanctuary, coffee gathering area, teen center and hangout, and support of restrooms, kitchen, Sunday school classrooms, and office space to support the church. The main level features 9,000 square feet with a lower level of 1,500 square feet.
Adapting an existing warehouse into this church not only lent a unique character, but created a style of loft comfort that appealed to the congregation. The narthex serves as both a pre-function space and a community gathering location complete with coffee bar and lounge seating. Proceeding into the sanctuary through pivoting custom doors, abstracted angelic wings create the ceiling that controls both sound and lighting. A Nursery with a large viewing window into the main worship area is directly off the sanctuary and classrooms are down a hallway. The main level activities are supported by a catering style kitchen. A lower level provides a teen gathering room with classroom area and administrative offices that are easily accessed directly from the outside.
