Borden Ice Cream Plant
This exciting project looks to transform the old Borden Ice Cream headquarters across the downtown post office into a vibrant mixed-use facility. Near Unity Park, this 2-story building will feature commercial units ranging from 2,000 to 20,000 SF. Overall there is over 40,000 SF of commercial space available with outdoor social spaces linking the various components together. The site is registered with the National Park Service and was home to the Greenville Ice Cream Co. starting in 1923 before being acquired by Borden Ice Cream in 1947. A historically significant site for Greenville, the former plant served not only as the ice cream supplier to Greenville and beyond, but also employed hundreds of Greenville residents for generations.
