Furman University, Latham Baseball Stadium
The new 10,400 SF Baseball Field House at Furman University is located along the first baseline at Latham Baseball Stadium, with excellent views of the field from an elevated vantage point. The new facility is a continuation of the original stadium built in the 1950s and provides the stadium with a visual anchor from the nearby campus entrance. Traditional materials blend with the architecture of the surrounding campus buildings. Programmatic spaces include coaches’ offices, locker rooms, a team room, and an area dedicated to sports medicine. Featuring four indoor batting cages, the facility provides the team with a flexible space to accommodate year-round hitting and pitching practice.
