Institute of Innovation, Cherokee County School District
The new Institute of Innovation provides workforce training opportunities to students in Cherokee County School District. Spanning 84,000 SF, the facility’s flexible environment features over 20 spaces equipped for advanced technology and traditional vocational options. A 3,800-SF multipurpose room with 400 seats serves as a venue for guest speakers, student competitions, and college fairs.
Notably, the strategic placement of the Institute of Innovation on the same campus as the county’s community college fosters synergy. This synergy is expected to have lasting benefits for the industries and citizens of Cherokee County well into the 21st century.
