In 2017, Bloomin’ Brands decided to convert their current P65 AutoCAD prototype for Outback Steakhouse into Revit and refine the model for more efficient use across the country. Recognized by Autodesk as a national leader in Revit innovation, our design team at McMillan Pazdan Smith was a natural fit for the conversion project and worked closely with the company to complete the upgrade.
Both the brand and the company benefit from the move to a newer, cloud-based software. The new prototype incorporates smarter technology, cleaner delineation of information, and a more robust platform that can be easily and quickly adapted throughout the chain’s different regions. Our firm provided site-adaptation for the P65 prototype at various locations across the U.S.
With changes to the market, Bloomin’ Brands decided to move towards renovations of existing facilities.
