Portside Distribution Center

Sited just off the new Nexton Parkway interchange on I-26 west of Charleston, the development capitalizes on the location’s easy access to interstate, air freight, and ports to maximize shipping capabilities for distributor tenants. The design-build team of McMillan Pazdan Smith and Frampton Construction were commissioned for the very first facility planned on the 31-acre campus. The 189,000 SF speculative building has a clear height of 32’, structural steel, and load-bearing concrete tilt-walls. With 33 dock doors, 4 drive-in doors, and ample parking for employees, visitors, and trailers, the facility is designed to maximize distribution capabilities. Designed to offer maximum flexibility in a competitive market, this initial spec building is easily dividable for multi-tenant use or can have a second build-to-suit 200,000 SF building added based on tenant needs.
