Regent Bank

Certified: LEED by the U.S. Green Building Council

Regent Bank, an independent bank owned by Regent Bancorp, built its first office in SC as part of the McBee Station development in downtown Greenville. The 19,000 SF building houses all current bank employees and provides some tenant space for future bank office expansion. The client asked our firm to maintain a traditional architectural character which would complement, but not mirror, the design of McBee Station.

Regent Bancorp wished to portray the new bank as a good steward of the environment and neighbor to downtown Greenville. The craftsman character of the bank, with its decorative brick and stonework, reflects the residential architecture of the surrounding Pettigru Historic District, as well as other early 20th-century buildings in Greenville. MPS served as the Design Architect through the Design Development phase and as LEED Administrator.
