Richland 2 School District Ready to Kick Off in Two New Stadiums

Athletic programs create so many opportunities for schools and students. As students enter this school year, whether participating or cheering for their teams, having top notch athletic facilities matters. This is especially true for the new stadiums and sports complexes for Richland Northeast High School and Ridge View High School in Columbia, SC.

Both schools will play their first competitive games ever on their respective campuses this month! It’s been our pleasure to work with coaches, educators, and administrators to bring these projects to reality for their teams and communities. Go Cavaliers! Go Blazers!

The new stadiums at Ridge View and Richland Northeast are part of the $467 million bond referendum approved in 2019. Learn more about the district’s process from funding to construction in our podcast with Will Anderson, R2’s Chief Operations Officer.
