Spartanburg County and Partners Celebrate New Judicial Center Groundbreaking

There was a great sense of community in the air as we celebrated the groundbreaking of the new Spartanburg County Judicial Center last month. This project includes the new Spartanburg County Courthouse, parking structure, and central energy plant, all of which were funded by the County’s Penny Sales Tax, approved by voters in 2017.

Our team is proud, not only to work on behalf of County staff and citizens but also to be a part of the growth of Spartanburg County and to serve the community in which we work.

“We have thoroughly enjoyed working with our County and partners to design this new Judicial Center for Spartanburg. This investment will not only have long-lasting, multigenerational impacts but also become a prominent architectural fixture in our downtown.” – William Gray, Spartanburg Office Director (pictured above, left). Also part of our project team, pictured from left to right, Managing Principal Ron Smith, and Architects Kenya Trenthem and Luke Sims.
