While the 2020 AIASC Design Awards took place virtually this year, that didn’t stop us from celebrating the amazing design talent across the state! The annual award ceremony recognizes “projects, architects, and owners throughout the state who exemplify vision, creativity, and design innovation.” We are honored to have been part of the amazing group of firms and individuals nominated for this year’s awards.
The Continuum (pictured below) received the Design Award / Honor for Adaptive Reuse, a transformational building in Lake City, shared by Florence-Darlington Technical College and Francis Marion University. The project was made possible by the support of the Greater Lake City Community Development Office, Darla Moore, Dr. Marion Fowler, and a fantastic team of engineers and designers.
We also want to recognize BOUDREAUX, our team’s leader and architect of record, for the Richland Library Main Renovations (pictured above), which received the Design Award / Honor for Interior Architecture. Our library design team worked alongside BOUDREAUX to create a vibrant and dynamic experience for library staff and visitors.
